Identification: Brown body with a dark-brown back. The head profile is only slightly concave, compared with other species of featherback.php.
Typical location: Around submerged structures in stream, canals and ponds with standing or sluggish water.
Fishing methods: Live bait fishing with fish or prawns. Casting small minnows, spinners and flies.
Fighting characteristics: A good fighter that mixes jumps with fast runs for the nearest shelter.
