Bomb

Bombs for freshwater fishing come in several variations,
such as sliding, fixed, floating or sinking,
but all are constructed as a steel spring.

One end is attached to the main line, and the other end,
to a small trace of line with the hook.

Bomb

A bomb can be put on the line in two ways: some can be attached,
so they can slide up and down the fishing line, whereas others are fitted
with a swivel at each end and tied onto the line in a fixed position.

Both models come in sinking and floating variations, but they all serve
the same purpose, which is to hold a ball of bait substance.
The bait is then embedded in the ball.

As the "bait ball" slowly dissolves in the water, it attracts fish to the bait.

Note: Illustrated bomb can be purchased through our "Shopping" section.
