Catfish Bait

The most commonly used bait in Thailand for catfish consists of a mixture
to which water is added and is then kneaded to obtain a thick consistency.
This mixture can be either bought in a package or can be "homemade"
using bread, fish oil, cheese, butter, eggs, etc.

Bread is placed on the hook and is then covered with
a thick layer of the freshly made bait substance.

This substance is also used in freshwater fishing when using the "bomb" technique.
In this process, the small bread/bait hook is embedded in the bomb.
