Identification:
Silvery body with green to blue tint on the upper part,
and red to orange tint on the lower part.
Very small scales and a rounded snout with no barbels.

Typical location:
In large rivers and lakes with moving water.

Fishing methods:
Bottom fishing with dough, bread, weed or maggots.

Fighting characteristics:
A good fighter on light to medium tackle.
Several fast runs and constant direction changes.
