Identification:
Light brown back with dark brown spots, white sides and a silvery belly.
Deeply forked tail with a red tint.
Flat and wide head with long whiskers.

Typical location:
At the bottom of muddy and sloggish waters in rivers, streams and lakes.

Bottom fishing with live as well as dead shrimp or small fish.
