Multiplier Reels

A multiplier reel is a reel with a spool that is centred between two side plates.
The drag settings of the spool can be either a star-drag or a lever-drag system.
The free rotating spool provides less friction than fixed spool reels thereby offering
greater casting distance and accuracy. Control of the cast is also an advantage of these
reels since the spool first can be slowed and then stopped when the bait hits the water.
