A fly reel is an extremely light-weight centrepin reel with sufficient capacity to hold
a full length fly line and adequate backing. It has an integral adjustable drag system,
easily accessible spool and often offer the choice of right or left hand wind.
Shimano Freestonefly reels are machined from aircraft grade aluminum
and features adjustable drag, easy rim control, and 4 ball bearings
to provide silky smooth operation. They are adjustable left
or right hand wind and available in 3 models.
