A fixed spool reel is a reel with a non-rotating spool, often used for spin fishing.
When casting, the rotating bail is lifted which then allows the line to run off the spool.
The bail automatically returns to its original position when retrieving the line.
Drag settings may be adjusted at the front, centre or rear by a finger screw.
The re-designed Stradic with a tighter and stronger anti-reverse system.
Still featuring all the other things that have made the Stradic a classic,
such as Dyna Balance, Power Roller, Aluminum primary and spare spool
and Shimano's silky smooth drag system.
