A fixed spool reel is a reel with a non-rotating spool, often used for spin fishing.
When casting, the rotating bail is lifted which then allows the line to run off the spool.
The bail automatically returns to its original position when retrieving the line.
Drag settings may be adjusted at the front, centre or rear by a finger screw.
Super Aero Fv is basically the same reel as the Power Aero,
but for a more affordable price, due to small details such as the graphite spool.
It still features Shimano’s Power Roller system, Super Stopper II
and SBL system to improve the anti-reverse feature,
and should not be underestimated in performance or strength.
