A fixed spool reel is a reel with a non-rotating spool, often used for spin fishing.
When casting, the rotating bail is lifted which then allows the line to run off the spool.
The bail automatically returns to its original position when retrieving the line.
Drag settings may be adjusted at the front, centre or rear by a finger screw.
It now features a cold forged and double-anodised spool with titanium lip,
and 6 Anti Rust Bearings along with Shimano's SBL, Floating Shaft,
Fluidrive II and Super Stopper II systems.
