Live Bait Rigging Rigging up for fishing with live fish is one of the simplest and quickest rigs. Below is described Thai Fishing Guide's recommended way of making this rig. A stopper is pulled onto the main line (or a stop knot is tied on the line) Then the line is passed through a suitable size float
The prefered hook is tied onto a braided leader using a Triple Palomar Knot. At the other end of the leader (approximately 30 cm) a loop is tied using a Bimini Twist.
The leader is then attached to the swivel by passing the loop through the swivel
A live fish can then be rigged by pushing the hook The float used should only just be big enough to prevent the live bait from pulling it under,
